The original waterproof leather boot, the Galway owes its existence to our expertise in the sailing industry, creating the first ever leather waterproof sailing boots and then adapting the design for the outdoor country market. Our Galway is built to last and when worn regularly and cared for correctly, it will last for years. The versatility of this design makes it perfect for both muddy fields and in-town looks. Our iconic country boots are made with DryFast-DrySoft™ leather and lined with GORE-TEX Product Technology, allowing the boot to be both fully waterproof and breathable.
The walnut leather is a luxuriously natural leather and compliments any outfit pairing. This natural and rugged yet soft and supple to touch walnut leather oozes classic elegance.

All of our footwear is manufactured in the EU sizing, meaning that the UK measurements are rough estimates to the nearest decimal place. To ensure our customers select the fit closed to their UK size, a UK alternative has been added beside the EU options, which is why the options resemble the following: 41/7.3
How should Galway boots fit?
Your Galway country boot should fit comfortably, and your toe shouldn’t press against the top of the boot while walking or the widest part of the foot shouldn’t be pinched by the boot. These knee-high boots are designed to fit comfortably and should have a little wiggle room for the foot to expand during the course of the day.
If you are in between sizes, a footbed will help raise your foot and allow the boot to fit better. If you find the smaller size too small but the bigger size too big, then the footbed will raise the foot and take away a quarter of a shoe size. Please also take into consideration that thicker socks are better paired with the Galway boots and there should be a little bit of room between the calf and the boot.
